Kansas City Royals Name Circa Sports As Official Sports Betting Partner
The Kansas City Royals finally have a wagering partner.
- Circa Sports fills the sportsbook collaboration left by Underdog.
- The gaming operator will make its official launching Friday.
- The arrangement consists of fan integrations and advertising signage.
The Major League Baseball group revealed Monday that it struck a contract with Circa Sports, a Las Vegas-based operator that acquired among the two untethered Show-Me State sports wagering licenses in 2015.
The Royals had a sports wagering collaboration with Underdog in late 2025, however the operator left the state before sports wagering launched on Dec. 1 to concentrate on other items. Circa now fills that function.
"Since launching Circa Sports in Missouri last December, we've grown to value the local sports community - and the Kansas City Royals are at the heart of it," Derek Stevens, Circa Sports CEO, said. "This partnership has to do with developing premium experiences around the game - from the ballpark to the sportsbook - and giving Royals fans access, energy, and a level of engagement that feels genuine to how they follow baseball."
Getting in touch with Royals fans
Circa's offer with the Royals will consist of popular signage and future promos. There will also be fan experiences and "VIP hospitality moments," the partners stated.
Circa will officially debut at Royals Rally Casino Night at Kauffman Stadium on Friday. The sportsbook and gambling establishment resort operator will distribute 10 reward packages for a two-night remain at its Vegas residential or commercial property.
"We all understand the enthusiasm Royals fans have for their team, and this partnership with Circa Sports uses more methods for them to connect with the video game they enjoy," Cullen Maxey, president of service operations for the Kansas City Royals, stated. "From special occasions at Kauffman Stadium to distinct experiences beyond the ballpark, we're delighted to work with Circa to bring new ways for fans to get in touch with the Royals."
The wait is over
Underdog, the daily dream sports operator, had partnered with the Royals to acquire market gain access to. However, the company left Missouri sports wagering days before the launch, ending its multi-year agreement and leaving the Royals looking for a sportsbook partner for two months. Underdog also shut down its North Carolina sportsbook in December.
Circa joined DraftKings as one of the two sportsbooks to get market gain access to without partnering with an expert group or casino operator. It was a big win for Circa, which accommodates a more professional bettor with its higher limits and low juice.
