In December 2023, OpenAI struck a handle media business Axel Springer to use its news content in OpenAI's products. This lets ChatGPT provide news summaries from Axel Springer's outlets, that include Politico and Business Insider. The deal shows OpenAI's intent to check out chances in AI-powered journalism.
