College Students begin their formal medical coaching by completing a year-long assessment course sequence and a year-long therapy practicum course.

In this section, we spotlight a range of new scholarship, best practices, and information, including the outcomes of our own anonymous nationwide survey of practically 600 scientific psychology Ph.D. college students and college at research-intensive programs. Data collection efforts focused on research-intensive (‘R1’) institutions and scientific science-oriented listservs. Of course, reality is extra nuanced, and it is clear that many of those challenges are deeply intertwined and causally interconnected. Addressing these challenges would require an ‘all-hands’ approach, and we offer particular recommendations aimed at the whole spectrum of stakeholders, from the institutional—funders, Aplicativo Consulta Psicológica accreditors, skilled organizations, and scientific societies—to the individual—program administrators, investigators, and students.
